This is our Front room, not the best picture, but you get the idea. I love the windows. During the day they make everything very bright and help to heat the house.

Front Entry way... I love the colors and the decor, but it is really dark... any ideas about how to lighten it up without costing a lot and re-painting?

This is where I work.... our computer station....love it, Kassidy can play and I am right there.

This is our Bathroom floor, again, any ideas, I am worried about it getting wet, has anyone done this kind of floor? do you put a sealant on it? how do you clean it?

We are renting for 6 months with the option to buy... so far we are leaning to buy... we really like this area and the house.

OCD???????

Maybe it is OCD or maybe it is not? I sometimes wish my house could be clean....Not show house clean, but everything in it's place. But then I look at it and I am glad that my kids feel they can play and not worry. But then I wish that I could have "pretty" things out without worrying that they will get knocked over, pulled off, or darts shot at them. But then I wonder, am I the "pretty" things kind of person. Yes, I like to look at them, but is it worth the worry?

Maybe, just everything put away and all the boxes unpacked, places' to sit without moving things around to be able to do so. A cleared off kitchen table and cabinets. I know some may say well you just moved and it will get better as things get put away. I am hoping so. We moved things in and I was feeling pretty good about how it was all going, and then our kind of luck showed up.....our water heater blew a gasket(steam and water everywhere) so right now this is how our front room looks. (I had it mostly put together so that we had at least one room without boxes)







Oh well at least it was put together for a little while and it will be again hopefully by the weekend. At least Kassidy has a clear hallway to play in, as she has decided to skip crawling and just walk. She loves to go everywhere and especially loves to play in the hallway.

Our New Town

Deer, will miss this.....

I will miss this. These deer crossed the road right in front of us and then stopped and started eating. I will miss the wildlife and the no neighbors close. But I will not miss the stressful drive home in the dark, hoping that there are not any deer/cows on the road or close to it.

Santa Claus???

Carol Ann (my mother-in-law), Kassidy and I went to an estate sale and this gentleman was there. He plays Santa Claus in California, he keeps the beard all year round and said he usually wears red. Kassidy warmed right up to him. YAY!!! first time with Santa Claus and no tears.

Football

For 7th graders they gave the option to take PE or Athletics. The only requirement they set was that if you took Athletics you had to play 2 sports and one had to be track. Zack really wanted to play basketball and do track. We told him that if he wanted to do Athletics then he had to play all the sports. He decided this would be ok, but really did not want to play football. He has actually enjoyed it and it getting pretty good. He is number 52 in this picture. There were 67 kids on his football team so they had A and B teams and 2-3 strings on each, so that has made it pretty hard to get some field time. But he made it about 2-3 plays a game. We are really proud of him and hope he will still enjoy playing in Lefors where they play a 6 man team. Zack will be the 12th person on the team.
