This is how we work on cuddle days.

 

Wood Floors

We found some tile by a dumpster and were going to put in an entry way, so that when it rained we did not have to worry about water and mud on the carpet.  Imagine our surprise when we pulled up the carpet and found hardwood floor. 

 most of it is pretty good, except for under the ac unit, then there is a a little bit of water damage. But we are soo excited.

Famiy picture fun

I don't really like my picture taken, but as my kids have pointed out they don't have any pictures of me in their scrapbooks.  So I am trying to be better.  Even if they are blurry :-)  Kassidy took the ones of Roger and I.  Then Roger took the other ones.

I'm so glad when Daddy comes home.....

Roger went on a week deer hunting trip down to Mertzen, to his brother Phillips cabin.  He had a blast, but Kassidy was sooo glad when he got home.

Roger has Friday's off with his work schedule.  So He and Kassidy get to do a lot of fun things together while Mom is working and Zack is at school.  Breakfast in the morning at "Granny's" (silver dollar pancakes, or animal shaped waffles). running errands, or just having fun.  This time Kassidy bought a "rocker" dress up kit.  Pink hair, clips, sunglasses, earrings, and a microphone.

Kassidy loves to paint nails.  She asked if she could paint my toe nails and my finger nails.  She did a wonderful job. 

 

35th Birthday

Happy 35th Birthday to me.....

 Uncle James and Aunt Christine helped Kassidy to make a cake for my birthday.  She drew this picture and then they helped her to transfer the image onto the cake.  Then she got to put the candles on.

I feel like I keep starting the blog by saying how long it has been.  I have decided that I am just going to do random instead of trying to go by date.

 While I working she came to me like this, and asked for her picture to be taken. 

Kassidy told me "I got on my cowgirl gloves, my cowgirl hat and my cowgirl belt and I am going for a ride on my shopping horse.  My other one is my working horse."

Wow.... it has been a really long time since I have posted anything on this site.  I am going to try and do better and get caught up, so hope you can handle all these updates>

Kassidy loves to make notes or small messages.  these are two that she made for me, then wanted a picture of them.  She is constantly cutting, coloring and taping up paper.  (she is the one taking the picture's)
