Our First Ultra sound..... We had a little bit of a scare.... The Doctor was measuring my uterus and gave a funny look and asked "How far along are you?" While he was doing the ultrasound he said "oh, good, there is only one" He said my Uterus is enlarged, but that is ok, usually that means there is more than one baby. We are 11 weeks and 3 days. Due Jan 4th.

Full on face shot

This one is manly for Roger, but it is a picture of the spine. (yep, it is straight)

This is the baby's feet. The Doctor was measuring the babies legs, and it moved and showed the feet instead.

Here is our cute side shot

Side shot with the heart beat..... tonz of fun..
We are so excited. And glad everything is going ok. The nausea has slowed down, and the gagging is not as bad. We also found out the groin pain, and leg pain is sometimes normal for the first trimester, so hopefully we are about done with this. We go back on July 9th to get measured and listen to the heart beat.

BREAKING NEWS!!!!!!
Okay, so the picture is blurry, but at least you git the gist :-) we are going to have a baby. We go to the Doctor on Thursday and will have an official ultra sound, and get an official due date, but right now we are due Jan 4th.
UGH>>>>> This has been the hardest thing to keep a secret, especially since I have been, pretty much round the clock, nauseous. But we wanted to tell the boys first, and they just got here on Sunday night. Hope everyone understands. and if any family is finding out this way... I am sorry, we are trying to get a hold of everyone, but it is taking a little bit.
Love you all and will post more later.

Storm Shelters and Life in the Country
Fun joys of living in the country..... Our closest neighbor/friend has told us we must be getting a quick "break" into living in the country. The first day we were out there there was a scorpion in our bathroom. Since then we have had two tarantulas, and to top it all off, yesterday we had a rattle snake. (Spider and Snake were outside) Roger was taking something outside, and the rattler was sitting part on the step and part off. Needless to say, the gun came out and it was taken care of. :-) This is a picture of the snake. Zack was pretty excited about seeing it, and getting to keep the rattle.
We have been helping our friends dig a storm shelter, but of course it had to be turned into fun. Beau (Friends son) was pretending like it was a grave.
Then they took a brake to ride bikes down the hill. Rainey (Beau's sister) wanted a try, so Berne (her Dad) Helped to make sure she did not fall.
