This was Tristan's first pinewood derby. His car is named "Turbo" He came in 4th over all and 3rd for the first time racers. He started out racing his car facing forward, but then for fun we had him turn it around. Surprise, it went faster facing backwards.
Carson was able to participate with his Grandpa Alan's car. (Flintstones mobile) (he did not want a picture with it)
We had to take the boys home on Tuesday and had decided to stay over night so that we could be rested for the drive home, and also to have some us time. When we dropped the boys off, Tristan asked if we could come to his race the next night. We talked about it and decided to stay for the race and then to drive through the night so Roger could get to work. We are very glad that we were able to stay and share this time with Tristan.
Baby Doll was so good and patient with her. She stood very still and did not even spook when Kassidy cried to let Dad know she was done.
