First Santa Claus Visit

We have been waiting to make our Christmas cookies until Tristan and Carson could be here to make them with us. YAY!!!!! They flew in Yesterday evening. We are so excited to have them here and really miss them while they are gone. This was also Kassidy's first time making cookies.

Deer....

Ok, so when I said that I would miss the deer, I guess I should have specified that I would not miss hitting them, just seeing them out on the ranch. UGH.... our luck hit again on the Wed before Thanksgiving. We hit a deer... yes, you heard right, we hit a deer. Our second deer, but third animal.

Short re-cap for those who have not read our blog before... a year ago we hit a deer and totaled our Toyota Corolla. We got a truck to replace this. (09 Chevy Silverado) This July we hit a cow and totaled the truck. We got another truck to replace this. (10 Chevy Silverado) Unfortunately this is what we were driving on that fateful night when the deer decided, once again, that she would would find our truck. It did not total our truck, but it will have to spend sometime in the shop. Hopefully we will get it back before the 19th. (when the boys come, it is our only vehicle big enough to fit everyone)

The lucky thing is, a few days later, we were out at the ranch and had just turned out of our friends yard and Roger started honking and braking. Guess what this time it was a buck....but we narrowly missed him. Thank goodness, I don't think I could have handled 4 animals.
