Taking the boys home

Yesterday was a very sad and hard day. We (Roger and I) took the boys back to Colorado. (their mom moved there in March) We tried to make it a little bit funner by stopping by the Volcano just out side of Raton. It was very foggy so you can really only see the boys. But they had a blast. We missed Zack as he had school. They have Taks testing this week, so he could not miss.

Ranch Fun/ Boys Visit

Ok I give up... we have now joined the world of blogs.... We had the boys this past weekend April 23-28th. It has been wonderful to spend some time with them. We took them out to our new house in Valle De Oro. After complaining the whole way, they took to it like this is their way of life. riding horses, playing with the animals, going for a "hunting" walk with Dad, playing in the dirt and rocks. It was a blast....

Carson loved the animals... He spent about 45 min. in the back yard hand feeding the dogs and just playing. But then when the dogs came after the kittens he had to "save" them. He would pick one up, and talk to the other's saying "don't worry, I will get you too" When one would jump out of his arms he would tell them "oh, no, now it is going to take longer" It was soo cute. He ended up with all 4 in his arms and got them to "safety" (one was upside down, one was held by his neck, (he had started to slip out) then two where in his hands.) After the cats were "safe" he let them take turns riding on Sadie's back.

We have two dogs Sadie is a 4 month old black lab, Mazey is a 2 month old mix. We also have 4 kittens that are about 2 months old. We have access to a horse named Baby Doll. this is more animals than I have had before, but YEAH!!! we are so excited for the space, and quite.
